Ann Tallman and Lisa Martin have been recognized as employees of the year for The First National Bank of Mount Dora.  The honors were announced at the annual employee meeting for the bank in December.

Lisa Martin was awarded the employee of the year for the commercial side of the bank.  She is an “Administrative Assistant for the Deposit Operations”, and has been with the bank since 1994. Lisa’s duties include assisting clients in setting up their Internet Products.

Ann Tallman was chosen employee of the year for the bank’s Trust Department.  She is “Head of the Trust Administration” and joined the bank in 1998. Ann’s primary focus is the delivery of personal services such as bookkeeping, taxes, and investments for Trust & Investment clients. Ann has been recognized for her continued commitment to leadership and education as the winner of the “Stevenson-Horner Award”.

The First National Bank of Mount Dora opened in 1925.  It is the county’s oldest independent bank.  The bank’s Trust Department began operation in 1967.  It is the counties oldest and largest Trust Department.
