In 1925, The First National Bank of Mount Dora opened their first branch with a handful of employees; today “The Bank” has over 75 employees in 3 branches serving Mount Dora, Sorrento and the surrounding area.  “Over the years, our employees have been the key to our success. We feel rewarding employees for going above and beyond our expectations, is the best way to give our customers the excellent service they deserve”, states Jack Pease, III, Bank President.

In recognition of our extraordinary employees for their contribution in providing exceptional service, The First National Bank of Mount Dora is proud to announce the advancement of these key employees.

Laura Sanders has been promoted to Office Manager & Consumer Loan Officer. Laura joined The First National Bank in 1988.  Her new duties include overseeing the daily operations and the management of staff at the Sorrento Office, along with her responsibilities of being a Loan Officer.

Sandi Nelson has been promoted to Assistant Office Manager & Consumer Loan Officer. Sandi joined The First National Bank in 1993 as a full-time teller in the Sorrento Branch. Over the years, she has been a floating teller for all the branches and a Customer Service Representative (CSR).

Pat Hinckley has been promoted to Vice President & Trust Operations Officer.  Pat joined The First National Bank in 1976.  Over the years, Pat has held part-time and full time positions working with loans, bookkeeping and Trusts. In 1998, Pat made the full-time move to the Bank’s Trust Department, where she is a valued employee today.

Carol Kessinger has been promoted to Trust Officer in the Bank’s Trust Department. Carol has been with The First National Bank since 1999. Along with her day-to-day duties, Carol is currently enrolled in the FBA Florida Graduate Trust School at the University of South Florida, Tampa.

Susie Pelfrey has been promoted to Assistant Vice President & Assistant Trust Investment Officer.  Susie joined The First National Bank’s Trust Department in 1992. After six years in Trust Operations, she joined Trust Investments where she handles research, portfolio management and trading.

Susie is an Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager (AFIM) and a graduate of the Fiduciary Investment Management School at Cannon Financial Institute.

Lisa Martin has been promoted to Assistant Operations Officer for The First National Bank of Mount Dora.  Lisa has been with the bank since 1994. Lisa was awarded the 2004 Employee of the Year for the commercial side of The First National Bank of Mount Dora. Currently her duties include assisting clients in setting up their Internet products as well as various deposit operation functions.
