What is the Mount Dora Community Trust?
The Mount Dora Community Trust is a non-profit organization established in 1972 to help our community. The First National Bank of Mount Dora serves as Trustee of funds that are donated to support community activities and charitable organizations providing services to our community. The Mount Dora Community Trust serves a vital role in today's society as we watch public funds shrink and community needs increase.

Since 1972, the MDCT has awarded grants totaling $3,597,265.00 for the cumulative good of our community.
Mr. Kevin Batliner, Executive Director, was challenged to further community support and grow the organization and its approximately $5 million trust. The Trust assets now total over $7 million. Kevin is in the office on Tuesday mornings and can be reached at 267-0957.

As you can imagine, there are always more requests for funds than we have available to award. The Distribution Committee of the Mount Dora Community Trust works diligently to distribute the funds for the greatest benefit to our community. We appreciate the time and hard work of these volunteers.
